Alekseyev Gate

The Alekseevsky Gate was once a checkpoint of the Azov fortress of the XVI century. The buildings themselves date back to the XVII century. Together with the earthen moat, the entrance structure forms the preserved complex of today's fortification.Restoration work on the restoration of the gate was carried out back in ser. XX century . Now they are gates, between which there is an arched tunnel made of red brick and stone. Commemorative plaques are installed on the walls.
