On May 20, the AMAKS Hotels & Resorts chain turned 22 years old!
Back in 2002, AMAKS was the AMAKS Premier Hotel Perm, the former Tourist Hotel, a Soviet-built building that underwent complete reconstruction and redevelopment over 22 years.
Today, AMAKS is Russia's largest hotel and sanatorium chain, uniting 27 hotels and 7 resorts throughout Russia and the Republic of Belarus.

Many people are guessing and putting forward incredible hypotheses about the origin of the name "AMAKS", but, in fact, everything is very simple: the first object of the chain - AMAKS Premier Hotel Perm - is located on the banks of the Kama River, that is, next to "Kama". A little bit of a letter rearrangement game, and here he is AMAKS.
