Now the Championship, the Championship of Russia and the All-Russian swimming competitions among athletes with intellectual disabilities are taking place in our city.
Competitions are held in the Palace of Water Sports. More than 150 athletes have applied to participate in the competition. Among the participants are three-time winner and silver medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Valeria Shabalina, silver and bronze medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Vyacheslav Emeliantsev, silver medalist of the London 2012 Paralympic Games Artem Pavlenko.
