Ice Sculpture Festival in Ryazan

A festival of ice sculptures has opened on the territory of a former bakery in Ryazan.

Four artists and seven ice carvers made a real gift to the townspeople: 20 ice objects, the elegance of which is emphasized by the illumination.

The theme of the sculptures is dictated by the history of the place – the bakery, in the building of which the first power plant of the city was located before. Therefore, there are images of lightning, a light bulb, an ice bench, a clock, a mill, as well as a sandwich, pretzel, bagels and much more.

At the exhibition, you can feel like a real electric generator! Find a bike parked at an ice bench under a lantern: if you pedal, the lantern will flash with a warm light. If you get hungry, visit an ice cafe where you can warm up with hot tea and enjoy pastries.

The exhibition is open every day from 12 to 21 hours at subzero temperatures.

Address: Sobornaya Square, 18.
