- The oldest bowling alley is located in the English city of Southampton. It is more than 700 years old, and it is still used for the game.
- Bowling balls have different sizes and weights. The smallest ball is number six. Its weight is 2.7 kilograms, and the heaviest is the sixteenth ball, which weighs 7.3 kg.
- The largest bowling center has 141 lanes. It is located in Japan.
- The official structure holding bowling competitions in the USA is considered to be the USBC (Bowling Congress). It has about 2.5 million players. This is the largest association of bowling enthusiasts in the whole world.
