On the stage of the Mari Philharmonic on April 1, a concert of the famous Siberian Dance ensemble thundered. The ensemble began its history in Krasnoyarsk with the Folk Song Choir (1946), transformed into the song and dance ensemble (1956), the dance ensemble of the peoples of Siberia (1960). He gained worldwide fame thanks to Mikhail Semenovich Godenko, permanent artistic director and chief choreographer (1963-1991).
