Perm meets the famous aviation aces again! Already this Saturday, July 13, the traditional aviation festival "Wings of Parma" will take place at the Frolovo airfield, where all guests will be able to see the highest flying art with their own eyes.
Meanwhile, the headliners of the festival, the Strizhi aerobatic team, have already arrived in the city and are gaining strength before the holiday at the AMAKS Premier Hotel Perm.
The Wings of Parma Airshow has been held in Perm since 2009 and is one of the most anticipated summer events for residents and visitors of the city. Over the years, the aerobatic groups Rus, Russian Knights, Silver Wings and many other professional aviators have noted their performances at it.
Our honored guests, the Swifts aerobatics group, performed under this name for the first time at an aviation show on May 6, 1991. Since then, this date has been officially considered the birthday of the Swifts. They are based at the Kubinka airfield near Moscow, which is considered the No. 1 school of aerobatic skills in Russia. The group has more than 30 aerobatics in its arsenal, which are performed on MiG-29 fighters.
The organizers of the Wings of Parma promise that no one will be bored. In addition to the performances of the ace pilots, the airfield will host photo shoots with the pilots of the festival, children's entertainment programs, as well as a concert by an aviation song performer.
