Stavropol Territory Week

As part of the "Year of National Culture" of the AMAKS Hotels&Resorts chain, last week was dedicated to the Stavropol Territory, where one of our most beautiful objects is located - the AMAKS Shakhter resort complex, which is located in the city of Essentuki.

Essentuki is the youngest resort of the Caucasian Shakhteral Waters. Once there was an unremarkable Cossack village, and in 1810 the Moscow doctor F. P. Haaz discovered healing springs, and everything changed. After 13 years, the healing properties of the waters were thoroughly studied, and the city became a wellness center and a popular resort.

What, besides the treatment with delicious and healthy mineral water, can be done in Essentuki?

  • — Take a walk in the Spa Medical Park, founded by order of Count Vorontsov in 1847. The count ordered trees and shrubs from all over the world to be planted and planted in the park, many of which are still alive;
  • — Drink mineral water in Europe's largest gallery "Pyatitysyachnik";
  • — Visit the N. A. Semashko mud baths, the largest balneo-mud baths in Europe, built in 1915 in the image of ancient Greek baths;
  • — To train on the simulators of the XX century at the Zander Institute of Mechanotherapy, where the famous episode of the film "Love and Doves" was filmed, in which Raisa Zakharovna and Vasily Egorovich train the organs of movement;
  • — Visit "Rio de Kavkaz" - a temple complex with the highest statue of Jesus Christ in Russia;
  • — Plunge into the "Suvorov baths", the water that comes directly from the ground.

Well, after such a busy excursion days, we invite you, of course, to AMAKS Sanatorium "Shakhter" Essentuki.
