The sculpture “Gulliver" appeared in Gomel in 2007. Its author is Tamara Dmitrieva. The monument is made of metal and has a height of 7 meters. The sculpture appeared in the city on the initiative of the leadership of the Sovetsky district, who wished to give children a gift for Children's Day. The author perfectly managed to convey the atmosphere of Jonathan Swift's work and the seven-meter statue looks like a real giant against the background of small children. You can find the sculpture at the intersection of Rechitsky Avenue and Sosnovaya Street.
