As part of the "Garden of Memory" campaign, beautiful lilacs of different varieties were planted on the territory of the AMAKS Premier Hotel. The trees were planted in honor of Ivan Grigoryevich Lyadov.

The main goal of the large-scale ecological and patriotic campaign is the planting of 27 million trees in memory of everyone who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Ivan Grigoryevich was born in the village of Zabornaya (now Kirovsky district of Perm). In November 1943, he was drafted into the army. He served as a "loader" in the 13th Guards Uman separate heavy tank regiment. On January 24, due to a technical problem, the tank stopped. Countless enemy attacks began. Lyadov's tank turned into an armored fortress. The crew managed to set fire to a German armored personnel carrier, smashed a staff car, four trucks with ammunition. The fight lasted for three days, but in an unequal battle the tank was set on fire. Ivan Grigoryevich Lyadov was buried in the village of Smolice (Poland). The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded to him posthumously, on April 10, 1945. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Patriotic War II degree. A street in the Kirovsky district of Perm and school No. 71 are named after the Hero.
