Sport is not only a great way to keep fit, but also an opportunity for people to come together, overcome their limits and reach new heights.
The fifth anniversary half marathon "Race.The Russian Federation", the stage of the large-scale All-Russian half marathon, was held in the Voronezh Olympic Sports Complex on Sunday, June 4. It was attended by more than 850 people – professionals and amateurs, adults and children.
At the Olympic, running enthusiasts began to gather from the very early morning – the starting town opened at 06:30. Adults and children with any level of training could take part in the starts. Athletes were waiting for four distances: children from six years old, juniors and novice adults ran a distance of 1.2 km, athletes with a good level of training tried their hand at distances of 5.5 km, 10.6 km and 21.2 km.
